On behalf of our estimated Client, an important holding of investments with its HQ in Lugano (Switzerland), we are currently looking for a:

Facility Manager - Nigeria place of work

This is a great opportunity to discover a possibility to Expatriate in a very competitive contest, with a solid company present since years in different african locations, in Oil & Gas/Logistic sector.

As a facilities manager, you'll be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of an organization. You'll ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to the company's buildings and premises.

  • Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives;

  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures

  • Responsible for building and grounds maintenance; including space management

  • Project management, jointly supervising and coordinating work of contractors with Admin

  • Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements/standards

  • Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or where required re-organizing current premises.

  • Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily according to agreed terms. follow up on any deficiencies

  • Ensuring the maintenance of all company buildings and grounds, including the branch offices and residences.

  • Janitorial service management, closely monitoring the cleaning company

  • Maintenance of Executive residence / Guest house & Expatriate residence

  • Procurement and maintenance of furniture and fittings

  • Ensure service providers deliver value commensurate with what they are being paid

  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement;

  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and proven ability to lead teams and achieve

Qualifikation

  • BSc/HND in Facility Management, Engineering, Engineering Construction and any other related field

  • 6-10 years' working experience in related field

  • Eyes for details

  • Analytical and goal oriented

  • Project management

Place of work: Nigeria (with an interesting Expatriate Contract package) with the following rotation: 52 days locally in Nigeria, followed by 21 days off (5 rotation per year).
