Our client is looking for your talent in the automotive industry as :

Strategy and Innovation Director (m/f/d) 100%

Key area of work:

  • Running the strategic planning process for one of thereporting units
  • Conducting extensive field work to learn more aboutthe business, assessing how the industry will evolve andmaking recommendations to set strategy and improveoperational performance
  • Designing and implementing major business strategies
  • Supporting strategic initiatives by conducting quantitativeand qualitative analyses to identify market drivers,enhancing strategies, and informing businessdecisions using primary and secondary data and publiclyavailable information
  • Leading dialog to identify, define and blueprint strategicand operational changes to the business, understandingthe value of such changes
  • Leading cross-functional teams to support strategy andstrategy-to-action efforts
  • Analyzing information on markets, channels, clients,prospects and competitors, focusing on comparisons andmarket trends
  • Guiding and managing work streams of strategic projectswith business unit personnel
  • Designing, coordinating and executing primary andsecondary market research activities, i.e. data gathering,analysis, writing, reporting and presenting as needed
  • Analyzing customer and competitor trends to helpbusiness leaders optimize operations, marketingprograms, and sales strategies, in order to capitalize onnew opportunities
  • Analyzing, organizing and interpreting business, salesand industry data, identifying and tracking businesstrends
  • Documenting, analyzing, and understanding customer,competitor and industry structure
  • Constructing financial and economic models and buildingspreadsheet models to analyze data
  • Conducting interviews with internal business clientsand external experts to identify business issues andopportunities
  • Supporting the Board of Directors presentationpreparation
  • Performing other duties across the business as needed


Your skills:

  • MBA coupled with a bachelor's degree in Business/Science/Engineering/Finance/Economics or relateddiscipline
  • Five to ten years of job-related experience
  • Experience implementing strategy in a Fortune 500 company
  • Four or more years of experience at a global management consulting firm
  • Automotive aftermarket and distribution experience
  • Strong understanding of microeconomics and intermediate understanding of finance and statistics
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to creatively and effectively design and present information
  • Ability to conduct self-directed project based work in support of strategy efforts
  • Ability to lead teams Inquisitive by nature and passionate about learning
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills;
  • Access database skills a plus
