For our client based in Basel we are currently looking for a business process champion - asset maintenance & repair

As a business process champion - asset maintenance & repair you will be collaborating with internal stakeholders and will be responsible to design the end-to-end process (Asset Maintenance & Repair), ensuring continuous improvements as well as generating business value and efficiencies. Acts as liaison between technology teams, support teams and business units or functions. Has dotted line to Business Process Owner Asset Maintenance & Repair.


Tasks and responsibilities 

Process design, build and continuous improvement

  • Supports and consults Business Process Owner " Asset Maintenance & Repair " in defining cross-functional process design principles
  • Safeguards end-to-end process integration, automation and flexibility for Asset Maintenance & Repair process
  • Coordinates and moderates end-to-end integration and reviews deviations from standard process
  • Moderates cross-functional exchange to ensure end-to-end process establishment
  • Introduces Asset Maintenance & Repair process controls and KPI's
  • Steers and moderates process related discussions across functions
  • Establishes super user community along Asset Maintenance & Repair process
  • Ensures governance of process standards (keeping the process landscape up to date)
  • Monitors the economic, technical and timely implementation of the new requirements
  • Negotiates innovative business solutions along end-to-end process that generate value and are consistent with architectural guidelines and conform to security standards

IT consistency


  • Coordinates improvements for the end-to-end process and ensure a consistent deployment of tools across processes/BUs/countries
  • Maintains and updates workflows between functions and evaluate requests in the light of standard process adherence
  • Ensures standardized and automated use of tools and establishes a seamless and integrated process across functions.
  •  Moderates process updates and facilitate collaboration between functional stakeholders and IT
  • Works with Key/super users to conduct user acceptance testing
  • Drives rollout of central template und standardized end-to-end process
  • Designs E2E process integration between S4/Hana and procurement system
  • Change management
  • Owns and establishes Change management process for Asset Maintenance & Repair requests
  • Captures and evaluates requests made for process changes/ additional processes by/ from BUs/countries/others
  • Prepares change requests for decision by Business Process Owner
  • Provides guidance to stakeholders along the end-to-end process
  • Prepares and coordinates user Acceptance testing

Administrative (Documentation)

  • Adheres to documentation principles to ensure consistency
  • Reviews/oversees documentation and up to dateness
  • Establishes and ensures consistent documentation across end-to-end process
  • Develops communication plans to communicate change

  • Strong understanding of SAP, IT security guidelines and IT architecture standards
  • Proven expert in regards to Asset Maintenance & Repair process
  • Background in business analysis
  • Experience in design and modeling of business processes
  • Qualified scrum master
  • Project management skills
  • Strong project management qualities

Education, experiences and IT Know-how

  • University degree (master) in business administration or similar
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the area of Source to Pay processes and respective support systems
  • Excellent understanding of process excellence and continuous Improvement
  • Know-how with ERP solutions (i.e. SAP S/4HANA) and deployment
  • Know-how in AI and Robotics supported processes is a plus


  • German and English fluently
