Stellenbeschreibung

We are looking for an experienced interaction designer to shape and evolve the product experience. You’ll be working in close collaboration with other designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user needs and business opportunities into thoughtfully-crafted experiences.

 

Responsibilities

-Design new features and test designs, working with research to understand user needs.

-Communicate design intent to both internal and external teams. Clearly rationalize and justify design work and advocate for user needs.

-Rationalize and justify design work clearly, while advocating for user needs. Collaborate effectively on a team and be willing to explore all options.

-Work closely with User Researchers in order to better inform designs using the users’ point of view.

-Deliver the designs for each release by following through on details with the Engineering team and driving to successful completion.

 

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

-Portfolio of work demonstrating core interaction and visual design skills.

 

Preferred qualifications:

-Experience in collaborating with User Researchers, Content Strategists, Product Managers and Engineers.

-Demonstrated expertise with the design tools of your choice, with the ability produce high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.

-Demonstrated understanding of design process, methodology, and human-centered design.

-Passion for clear and useful data visualization.

-Effective analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
