IT Database Architect Oracle / MS-SQL in Lausanne

We are looking for an Oracle / MS SQL Data Base Architect  who would like to support an IT Infrastructure Delivery programme from a technical and strategic perspective.

Working with Architects across other technical disciplines, your role will be to: 

• Lead Database Service engineering: Architect, document and coordinate technology design, and configuration for service updates/additions as part of change management discipline

• Achieve organizational goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases on MS-SQL

• Review and contribute to the database architecture roadmap.

• Validate, evaluate and technical sign-off of technical changes in capabilities and solutions proposed by external partners

• Oversee and guide deployment of database solutions in IT Landscape (including PoC, PoV and Transfer-to-Operations together with Level 2 support teams) 

• Serve as Level 3 SME for technical operations, incident, and problem resolution in database platform and related domainsYour Profile : 

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent with proven experience in relevant DB Architecture roles in global IT Infrastructure environment. Oracle and MS-SQL experience is key

• Experience in Cloud Technology 

• Solid IT Infrastructure knowledge : Windows/Linux server, network, storage, access management

• knowledge across DB platforms : Oracle, MS SQL, Azure Cloud offerings, and data mining

• English :  fluent level is a must, any other language is an advantage
