Stellenbeschreibung

On behalf of our estimated Client, international and first-class company in IT sector, we are currently looking for an outstanding Network Operations Team Leader, directly reporting to the CIO and contributing to the company's success by leading the EMEA Network team in designing, implementing and supporting its network infrastructure, based on both on-premises and multi-cloud solutions.

Specifically her/his main responsibilities will be linked (but not limited) to:

  • Coordinate a team of two engineers;
  • Supervise the entire delivery of projects and operations in the networking area;
  • Recognize outsourcing opportunities and build support for change, supporting the migration of key apps and data to the cloud;
  • Plan, design, develop, implement and support on-premises and cloud networking solutions;
  • Plan, implement and control user and account security rights and restrictions, perform security monitoring;
  • Ensure proper implementation and compliance of company network standards and architecture;
  • Develop documentation and maintain processes and procedures related to design, implementation and maintenance of networks;
  • Perform root cause analyst of major network and firewall infrastructure issues and develop strategies for preventative and permanent solutions;
  • Create effective monitoring, alerting, reporting, automation and capacity planning for network and firewall infrastructure equipment, systems and applications to ensure network and firewall performance, availability, reliability, integrity and security;
  • Perform network and firewall infrastructure operations, maintenance, support andproject duties as required during non-business hours;
  • Ensure all the systems are covered by maintenance plans and their software ismaintained up-to-date;
  • Validate invoices and ensure the cost is in-line with supporting contracts.
  • Sometimes travel to support EMEA IT Infrastructure (no frequent travel required)

Qualifikation

  • Completed computer science or Engineering studies (University degree or ETH) or equivalent experience on the field
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience inside multinational and multicultural work environments with a high level of dynamism, preferably in telecommunications sector or similar
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • Hard skills:

Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshootingskills;

Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XR, IOS-XE and HP Procurve/Aruba expertise;

Expertise with configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto Firewalls;

Expertise with configuration and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki wireless solutions;

Demonstrated proficiency in network administration of F5 Load Balancer (LTM);

Experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: BGP, MPLS, OSPF, etc.;

Experience with network protocols and concepts: Radius, HTTP Proxy, DNS, DHCP, WLAN, etc.;

Knowledge of VPN solutions and technologies;

Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions and technologies;

Expertise with configuration and troubleshooting of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure);

Required knowledge of ITIL/ITSM.

  • Soft skills:
