Stellenbeschreibung

Our client is on the search for a Network / Printer Supporter, for an initial 6 months contract in the beautiful city of Zurich! Mind it's mostly gray now due to autumn weather and winter is lurking around the corner. Yes this role is for one of the Zurich based banks, so you will need to dress up for the interview (shirt and jeans will be just fine on the job).

Your role will be that of an IT Site Operations Specialist, you are responsible for on-site / remote support of the banks users for various offices. The main duties will be ensuring proper operation of the IT infrastructure, in terms of hardware, network, voice connectivity and deployment of new products and solutions, with focus on printing. 

  The Role: 

  • Daily environment health check and pre-shift communication
  • Incident queue coverage in shift patterns
  • Document support issues / steps performed in SNOW ticketing tool
  • Support deployment and implementation of new products and solutions
  • Diagnosis and resolution of HW / servers / network / voice technology related issues
  • Liaise with third-level support groups where required
  • Manage and perform allocated tasks, projects, initiatives, check progress, report results to peers and higher management
  • Support all ITIL processes

You: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of corporate print environment
  • Ability to work in a heavily multitasking environment -> frequently (most often) under pressure
  • Manage cases according to defined escalation levels and case priorities to meet client’s expectations (now is always better than later)
  • Ability to work outside business hours (will be reimbursed)
  • Experience in cooperation within multi-site organization
  • Strong teamwork and communication / information sharing
  • Pro-active approach, ability to find initiatives and optimization ideas of existing IT environment
  • Fluent German
