Location: Zurich  Duration: from mid August 2018 for 12 months 

You would Develop, manage and proactively drive customer growth & new business through solutions architecture across the Company's Marketing Platform through leadership and consulting for the Swiss market.  Become a customer-centric trusted partner and project manager driving business transformation, focusing on best practice programmatic tech utilization & measurement (advising on feature adoption, brand measurement and testing strategy, maximizing a commercial deal etc).  Deliver business planning in conjunction with partners, driving the ad tech agenda within the broader group.  Build and maintain strong thought leadership of the Marketing Platform, collaborating with cross-functional Analytics 360, Cloud Platform and media sales stakeholders, to bring the best technology solutions to clients’ marketing challenges.  Analyse and assess the range of internal, industry and customer information and insight available, to guide your sales strategy and encourage your partners to make data-driven decisions in their use of the company's Marketing platfom.  What makes this job unique & why you would fit  As a Sales Specialist you will drive the company's Marketing Platform adoption and sophistication for our biggest Swiss independent agencies, including some of the world’s largest advertisers. You should be a master of complex organisational relationship management (client and agency partners; central and brand-level; global and local), and you should bring a thorough understanding of the online industry, experience simplifying complex digital tech solutions and the ability to effectively sell to each customer engagement. Proven track record in sales management with in-depth knowledge of performance advertising solutions and the online media landscape, particularly programmatic advertising is essential.  The ideal candidate enjoys working in teams, driving results, strategic thinking, holding an entrepreneurial spirit and possesses the ability to influence a range of stakeholders both internally and externally. Key to this is translating product, industry and customer data into tangible business opportunities and commercial plans that support both the company and partner priorities.  Qualifications 

  • Minimum qualifications 
  • You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job 
  • BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience) 
  • Relevant experience in online sales, business development and account management. Relevant experience in Programmatic required 
  • (preferably working within enterprise tech solutions or their agency partners) 
  • (preferably experience with the Swiss agency market and online market) 
  • Demonstrable experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders, driving sales through relationships 
  • Ability to speak and write in German, English fluently and idiomatically; complex topics and drive influence at all levels with concise messaging backed by facts and data 
  • Preferably speaking additionally French and Italian

 

Preferred additional qualifications 

  • Experience in solutions architecture - proven track record of crafting, activating and growing a strategic plan, grounded in tech & measurement, that demonstrates clear ROI 
  • Experience with Swiss clients / agencies and the online media landscape (particularly ad tech / programmatic landscape) 
  • Experience working directly within Advertising & Marketing Tech, including programmatic ad buying & measurement tools.
