Contract: full-time permanent

We are looking for a System Engineer to install, configure, maintain, support, administer trading telephony system for customers in Switzerland.Your challenge?

  • Manage remotely from the office the customer incidents, problems and change tickets using fault ticket management systems.
  • Ensure all issues are correctly tracked in the ticketing system.
  • Provide timely accurate updates to internal and external customers. 
  • Provide accurate updates at a frequency required by the ticket severity.
  • Trouble shooting, diagnosis, resolutions of service-related faults and application of recommend product fixes.
  • Capture and analysis of system logs and alarms.
  • Understand the impact of change to our systems and recommend appropriate steps to avoid adverse impact.

 

Your profile

  • Degree in computer engineering, electronical engineering or any other related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or communications systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting trading platforms and voice recording is an advantage.
  • Proficient with IP networking and associated messaging protocols (VoIP, SIP, CCNA, CAS, analogue lines).
  • Customer-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong team player capable of working independently.
  • Understanding of servers, VMs and Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server 2016/2012/2008/2003).
  • Understanding of traditional TDM telephony system principles, back-office PBX traditional digital extensions, SBC and Cisco/Avaya VoIP solutions.
  • Some knowledge of NICE Voice Recording Platforms and voice systems (e.g. Etrali, and Cisco) are a big advantage. 
  • ITIL qualification is a nice to have.
  • Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level). French is an asset.
