As a Technical Solutions Engineer you will work closely with partners, gain deep technical knowledge of the airline industry and learn the ins and outs of Schedules, Pricing, Availability and Fares!

In this role, you will help drive the strategy and services for supporting our most strategic airline partners in the area of flights price quality.

You will leverage both your technical and interpersonal skills to find the best ways to balance business needs with technical constraints to develop the right solutions and services for our airline partners.

You will lead implementation reviews, develop solutions for customers, champion new product features and help define the strategic partner support roadmap for the future.


  • Troubleshoot flight pricing data discrepancy issues and come up with technical solutions to avoid them in the future.
  • Implement and support partner integrations, and technical projects, including coding and integration of Flights partner pricing data.
  • Work with QPX, our powerful Pricing and Shopping product, and build deep expertise in Flights pricing area.
  • Scale our partner support operations by automating tools, improving technical documentation and delegating activities across multiple support tiers.
  • Support solution implementations, working closely with Flights partners to improve price and data accuracy.
  • Consult with partners to identify needs and develop approaches to identifying and improving the quality of their data. Responsibilities
  • Develop deep familiarity with the flights industry and domain knowledge needed to diagnose problems with data quality.
  • Implement efficient solutions to complex technical problems for our customers, including design, coding, and deployment.

Leverage implementation best practices and standards for Partner data quality solutions:

  • Ensure requirements and solutions are well documented;
  • Design tools, alerts, and processes to improve data quality;
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders about status and issues;
  • Gather and clarify project requirements

- Identify opportunities to improve ability to scale and improve processes, and develop tools and utilities.

- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot industry and custom data feeds.

- Build, test, and maintain Search code for managing pricing data.

- Troubleshoot issues with code, data and integration.

Be the voice for our customers working with engineering to define tools and improvements to data quality and accuracy.



  • Experience developing with Java/C++, Python, XML and templating tools.
  • Experience in Flights domain is a huge plus, or an enthusiasm and willingness to quickly learn the domain.
  • Experience working collaboratively and driving results with engineering, product management, and operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and organization skills.
  • Solid customer facing experience in project based work.
  • Experience with troubleshooting in a technical support capacity.
  • Basic networking, Linux and systems skills.


Coding experience in major languages like Java/C++ (preferable) or Python

Experience in managing technical projects, or at least driving relevant parts of a broader project

Relevant experience doing technical troubleshooting in a support role

Experience working directly with customers in relevant industry roles as Consultant, Project Manager, Support or Presales Engineer
