Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and serve as the technical expert on microbial analytics projects
  • Design and manage microbial pre-analytics, analytics, and post analytics programs that require the cross-functional involvement staff from various departments
  • Contribute to departmental processes and to direct the technical activities of individuals within the group
  • Lead the development of project plans, including protocols, SOPs and work schedules
  • Organize method development studies; design experiments; troubleshoots issues and problems in real-time and be responsible for instruments, material and systems
  • Provide written and verbal assessments, results, and reports


  • M.Sc. or PhD in Microbiology (microbial genomics, bacteriology, food microbiology, microbial engineering, biotechnology, etc.)

  • Preferably experience working with anaerobic bacterial species, especially from human microbiota origin
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in development, validation, and execution of analytical assays in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or CRO industry
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to analytical development
  • Ecellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Team player with excellent networking skills with the ability to communicate to all levels in the organization
  • Proven project management experience
  • A high degree of self-motivation and flexibility
