In the framework of a 3D-organotypic cell culture approach he/she will conduct experiments for determining cytotoxicity, cilia beating frequency (CBF), and cytochrome P450 activity measurements after whole smoke exposure. Experimental activities will be prioritized by his/her supervisor in close alignment with work-package leaders and study directors and will also involve the support of the High-Content Screening (HCS) activities, to study effects of cigarette smoke constituents on cells using image analysis. The incumbent´s cell culture expertise is relevant for primary and advanced cell culture systems (e.g. 3D-organotypic cell cultures). The incumbent is supposed to record experiments in Lab Note Books and writes work instructions and SOP´s for his/her field of expertize.
