To join our multinational biotechnology client, we are currently actively looking for a

Manufacturing Scientist

Contract: until March 2019 with the possibility of extension

Location: Zug

Tasks:

  • The person will be a team member of the Global Manufacturing Science department in Zug, which has the technical oversight and responsibility for tech transfer, process validation, process investigation and general technical commercial product support of API and Drug product manufactured within the client network
  • Supports the technology transfers as subject matter expert  including validation activities for new product implementation and existing product including process improvements
  • Supports day-to-day manufacturing operations with scientific expertise to ensure robust manufacturing processes, to drive failure investigations of commercialized products, and to support processes to ensure performance within the expected parameters. 
  • Supports continued process verification (data analyses and trending activities) including the required documentation, follow up on action items
  • Generation and update of technical manufacturing description/documentation, annual product review documentation
  • Design and execution of investigational studies in our CMO/CRO network
  • Execution and revision of cGMP documents 
  • Interaction with CMO and third parties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience  in pharmaceutical drug product manufacturing/late stage development of either in Injectable Drug Product and related technologies (syringe, vial filling) or Oral dose form manufacturing and related technologies( tablets, capsules)
  • Experience in pilot manufacturing, scale up, trouble shooting of technical issues.
  • Education biotech engineer, chemical engineer, pharma engineer or scientist 
  • Must have good problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, English fluent
  • Willing to travel at least 10%
