You are used to work with inspection tools? You have a first experience in quality control in a medical equipment environment and you are looking for your next challenge?Then you should have a look at this opportunity!Our client, a medical device company based in the Lausanne area is looking for a: QUALITY INSPECTOR(temp - ASAP until end of September 2021) ROLE PURPOSE: Quality inspection of medical devices (raw material, components and products), Support the control of nonconforming products & Ensure the availability of raw material in conformance for the manufacturing processTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure that the devices comply with internal and external specification by performing inspection, tests, analysis of documented tests results and supplier certificate.
  • Accept or reject devices based on established guidelines.
  • Support the treatment of nonconforming products.
  • Perform inspection of components, semi-finished products, sterile finished products or products in development or validation phase, recording data and issuing the reports as required by the company procedures.
  • Handling the verification and justification of the requested product release including the documentation and SAP goods movement transaction.
  • In case of nonconforming material, follow the procedure to segregate and identify the nonconforming material.
  • Support the projects of the Quality Department and R&D Department.
  • Coordinate the inspection activity according to the planning define by the manager.
  • Visual inspection, measurement inspection, perform Tensile test
  • Verify conformity of the catheter following requirements applicable.
YOUR PROFILE (EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION):• x CFC degree in mechanical area or equivalent• French speaker, English B1• 2 years of experience in application of inspection tools: caliper, micrometer, comparator indicator, go/no go gauges, destructive / non-destructive tests• Experience with 3D optical measurement is desirable• Cleanroom behaviour knowledge• Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)• Knowledge of 3D optical measurement is desirable.• Knowledge and application of ISO9001 and ISO13485• Good communication skills• Rigorous, Team worker• Hands-on, Sense of urgencyYOUR FUTURE:
