For example, clinical trials, consultancy, collaboration, confidentiality, material transfer, research agreements, R&D services, trials….Be the primary point of contact for all matters relating to external scientific contracts.Advise and support the contract owners, Group / Department Leaders and Institute Heads on contractual matters. Support contract owners with the creation, issuing and negotiation of contracts and amend contract templates where needed.Be the conduit between the research organization and our R&D Legal advisors, ensure smooth collaboration utilizing legal expertise as and when necessary.Accountable for the implementation and compliance with internal guidelines regarding management of R&D contracts and contract management processes as required. Establish and maintain content of the contracts section of related Intranet.Ensure contracts are in line with IP protection plans for the applicable project and that each collaboration is protected with an adequate agreement in accordance with the processes.Track progress of contract negotiations and signatures. Maintenance of contract details in SAP CLM and monthly reporting Your profile: Fluent in EnglishUniversity level education preferably in the sciences and with legal training would be a plus5 years of experience in a contract management role Familiarity with contracts regularly used in the context of an R&D organization and proven ability to negotiate such contracts and analyze risk profile and ensure consistency with commercial objectives and IP strategy.Sound understanding of IP rights including patents and their importance in the context of a commercial R&D organization.Proactive and service orientatedStructured, organized, and systematicIssues identification / Problem solvingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAutonomous, self starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team.
