Main Responsibilities:


The Logistics/Export Specialist is responsible for the distribution from the site and the maximal customer satisfaction, this occurs through competent handling of customer orders, questions and complaints. The main duties and responsibilities of the position are:



  • Manage and monitor the order life cycle. This includes the:
    - order processing and confirmations
    - allocation and delivery management
    - shipping (temperature controlled transport including temperature monitoring management)
    - billing and export documentation

  • Bring solutions to customer questions and queries (or forward them to the responsible employee)

  • Inform internal customers accordingly about order lead times (production + transport) based on information from planning

  • Manage order portfolio by updating order status and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Process Drop Shipments

  • Ensure order processing in line with letter of credit requirements

  • Assistance during inventory counting

  • Creating and updating SOPs and WIs for the WHL group

  • Observance from SOPs & WIs

  • Observe the safety, accident prevention and hygiene rules

  • Compliance with GMP / EHS / SOX requirements and guidelines that are connected to the respective function

Qualifikation

  • Commercial degree or bachelor studies
  • Good communication and negotiation skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Background in export, logistics or transportation related fields
  • Knowledge of customer service and logistic processes
  • Knowledge of good distribution practice (GDP) is a plus
  • Well organized and structured method of work
  • Proactive and strong communicator
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
