Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) is a leading designer and developer of innovative instrument sterilization, high-level disinfection and cleaning technologies. The company is dedicated to providing infection prevention solutions that create the safest possible environments for patients, healthcare providers, and communities.

For the ASP Supply Chain department in Zug, we are looking for a Supply Planner External Operations.

Main Responsibilities:

The Supply Planner External Operations is part of a multicultural team and responsible for the supply of finished products manufactured by external suppliers. He/She ensures continuous supply to our warehouse at the right inventory level and costs in order to serve our customers in a timely manner.

The Supply Planner is responsible to mitigate any impacts to customer service due to demand and/or supply constraints. We expect the candidate to identify and implement process & system improvements.

  • Creates & verifies supply plans by running the MPS in the Manugistics planning system
  • Manages the replenishment of finished goods from our external suppliers (places & monitors purchase orders, tracks deliveries, changes POs if needed)
  • Effectively translates demand plans into supply plans and communicate to suppliers and internal customers
  • Manages inventory levels and customer service levels within targets
  • Maintains master data & planning parameters in our systems
  • Identifies root causes & potential customer service impacts and works on corrective action plans for projected out-of-stock situations
  • Coordinates and communicates proactively the resolution of supply issues to stakeholders
  • Drives continuous improvements of supply chain metrics (service, inventory, cost, quality)
  • Leads the Partner S&OP meetings with external suppliers
  • Supports new products introductions and discontinuations
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationship with internal & external partner
  • Continuously challenges, improves and streamlines the supply chain process to increase efficiency
  • Resolves shipment/inbound issues due to insufficient/wrong/missing data
  • Resolves invoice/payment mismatches of supplier invoices
  • Maintains & keeps standard operating procedures and work instructions up to date

Qualifikation

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
  • Experience in planning, purchasing or materials management is preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Proactive, independent, self-leadership paired with collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and translate complex situations into simple working solutions
  • Accuracy with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
  • Good computer skills in MS Office applications
  • Manugistics, JDE, or SAP experience is preferred
  • APICS certification is preferred
