Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

For one of our clients, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specialized in rare inflammatory diseases, we are looking for a:

Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Lausanne area (hybrid possible)
Starting Date: end of 2025

Your Tasks:

• Lead the company’s medical and clinical strategy
• Oversee all clinical development programs and regulatory submissions
• Ensure scientific and medical leadership in collaboration with executive and scientific teams
• Engage with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and stakeholders
• Represent the company in interactions with the Board and external partners

Your Background:

• Medical Degree (MD) with a strong background in Immunology
• Proven experience in Biologics License Applications (BLAs), particularly in:

1. Preparing and managing regulatory submissions
2. Leading programs through FDA approval in the US

• Demonstrated ability to drive clinical and regulatory strategies in biotech or pharmaceutical environments
• Fluent in English - other languages welcome
