Swiss International Air Lines is Switzerland's most attractive employer


For the first time the Randstad Award went to Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), who were named as the most attractive employer in Switzerland. After the airline, second and third place were taken by Zurich Airport and Patek Philippe. A special honor this year went to Google Switzerland for its repeated excellence in matters related to employer branding.

The fifth Randstad Award ceremony was held on April 25, 2018 in Aura in Zurich. The evening took the concept of "Commitment" as its theme. Keynote speaker Felix Plötz explained to the audience what it is that makes Generations Y and Z choose to commit to an employer in the longer term. Memory coach Gregor Staub showcased his memory methods in such an entertaining way that the results of the Employer Branding Study will not be forgotten in a hurry.

Employer Branding efforts bear fruit

For the first time, the Randstad Award for the most attractive employer in Switzerland was awarded to SWISS. Christoph Ulrich, Head of HR at Swiss International Air Lines was delighted: "It is important to us that we establish a strong employer brand which allows us not only to retain our talented personnel but also to inspire the managers of the future. This first place shows that our efforts are bearing fruit. We see the Randstad Award as an incentive to continue on our chosen course and to work tirelessly on ensuring that we keep improving."

Google Switzerland enters the Randstad Award Hall of Fame

A special award was presented to Google Switzerland this year. The company was accepted into the Randstad Award Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame honors outstanding Employer Branding achievements. Google Switzerland won the Randstad Award repeatedly in the last few years and is now the first employer in Switzerland to enter the Hall of Fame.
