When I was 17, I read the biography of Panasonic founder Konosuke Matsushita. Even though his life was characterized by many hard and tragic events and he had virtually no schooling, he founded one of the world's largest and most successful electronics companies. Throughout my life I have remembered something he said, especially in dark and difficult times: "Regardless of the circumstances, you can ALWAYS be successful". It's what brought me this far. It is my deepest conviction, it is what I live and experience. And it's exactly what I teach my clients using a structured approach. Success and happiness are an attitude and a way of thinking. It isn't easy, but it can be learned.

We need to remain open-minded and agile and yet remain true to ourselves and our own corporate values.

Both are important elements that I learned from my mother and I always remember them fondly.
