History.

The Randstad Award is organized jointly by Randstad and the independent Belgian market research company Kantar TNS.

After 20 years of close collaboration, the survey has now been expanded to include 6,500 organizations worldwide. In 2021, the Randstad Award will take place globally across 34 countries and for the eighth time in Switzerland.

The winner of the Randstad Award in each country is based on how attractive the selected company is as a potential employer to the respondents. To determine this, we ask one simple question: “Would you like to work for this company?”

The companies are also evaluated on 20 factors that have been derived from our experience with the Randstad Award. These factors determine the perception of the employer brand.

Some of the 20 factors are (in no specific order):

  • provides attractive salary and benefits
  • offers the possibility to work remotely/from home
  • offers long-term job security
  • fosters a pleasant work atmosphere
  • supports a good work-life balance
  • offers a COVID-19 safe work environment
