Press Release

Randstad is the new global market leader for HR services

Randstad has become the world's leading HR service provider. Founded in 1960, the Dutch company is now present in 38 countries around the globe. Randstad has been present in Switzerland for 23 years and now has over 50 branches there.

"We are proud to have become the global market leader. We see this top ranking as recognition of our customers and candidates who have placed their trust in us. However, this success would not be possible without our employees, who dedicate themselves to Randstad day in, day out. I would therefore like to offer them my own special thanks", says Taco de Vries, CEO of Randstad Switzerland.

HR – today and in the future

The technological transformation is happening everywhere. It is having an increasing impact on every element of our lives - including the world of work. Instead of taking a passive approach, Randstad is actively helping to shape the transformation by developing innovative HR technology. But however valuable technology is for the HR industry as a whole, it is still "only" a tool and must never become an end in itself. This realization underpins the new Randstad brand promise: Human Forward.

Putting humans first

"Human Forward means that we make a conscious effort to put people first by supporting candidates to realize their full potential. In doing so, we not only help candidates to climb the career ladder, but also support the growth of the teams and companies in which we place them", says Taco de Vries. "This Tech & Touch strategy is an important pillar that will enable us in future to continue to be the leading HR service provider for our customers and candidates and the 'best' employer for our staff".
