A leading telecommunication company is looking for a Junior/Professional NetApp Engineer within based in Bern.
They naturally offer an interesting and extensive infrastructure that provides insight into many things that can contribute to promoting or choosing the right development.
Basic requirements: Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) in Computer Science and practical experience
Requirements:
- Good, solid IT skills base
- Confident use of automation and configuration management tools (scripting with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- Creating documents (in German) is no trouble for you.
- Experience in connecting and managing storage (NetApp - MetroCluster)
- Fluent in German & English.
Nice-to-have:
- In-depth knowledge of Commvault technologies, especially regarding data backup, recovery and archiving.
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS architectures and protocols such as NFS, CIFS/SMB and iSCSI.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages ??such as Python or Bash to simplify and automate routine tasks.
- Knowledge of the use of cloud storage solutions and hybrid infrastructures.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and management tools, as well as troubleshooting in complex storage environments.
