In this role as a Project Manager Industrialization (m/f/d) 100%, you will play a key part in driving, structuring, and accelerating critical industrialization and operational projects for a global leader in industrial measurement engineering based in Reinach (BL).
Working within an interdisciplinary and international environment, you will serve as the crucial bridge between R&D, production planning, and shop-floor operations. You will step into an agile setting to eliminate project bottlenecks, enforce structured governance, manage engineering changes, and ensure the successful transition of new product options and technologies into volume production.

Workload: 100% (40-hour work week)
Work Model: On-site presence during initial onboarding; thereafter, 1 day/week home office (25%)
Tasks & Responsibilities
...Project Leadership & Execution: Actively drive and structure key industrialization and operations projects where dedicated project management capacity is currently required.
Governance & Action Tracking: Establish and maintain transparent project schedules, task lists, and action plans. Rigorously track decisions, open points, risks, and mitigation measures.
Interface & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a central coordinator across R&D, production engineering, quality, and shop-floor teams to align priorities and streamline processes.
NPI & Product Options: Support the industrialization of new products within Lean Innovation projects and coordinate the introduction of new product options.
Engineering Change Management: Drive the rollout and execution of engineering changes (ECO/ECN) to ensure minimal disruption to active manufacturing.
Process & Digital Transformation: Assist in optimizing industrialization and transfer processes, improving production documentation, and coordinating selected digitalization or MES work packages.
Qualifications & Requirements (Must-Haves)
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), or a comparable technical qualification.
Domain Experience: Multi-year proven experience leading interdisciplinary projects in an industrial manufacturing environment (MEM sector, process industry, Automotive, or MedTech).
Core Expertise: Solid hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
Industrialization / New Product Introduction (NPI)
Production technology, manufacturing planning, or process optimization
Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN)
Production or site transfers
Language Skills: Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written; operational communication and project teams operate primarily in German).
Key Soft Skills: Highly structured organizer, strong multitasking capabilities, and diplomatic assertiveness when collaborating with technical subject matter experts.
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
Systems & Digitalization: Direct experience with SAP ERP, SAP ME/MES, production master data management, or variant configuration.
Methodological Expertise: Sound knowledge of Lean Innovation, Lean Manufacturing, Shopfloor Management, or Value Stream Mapping.
Site Transfers & Matrix Structures: Practical experience with production relocations/line launches and navigating matrix organizations.
