Randstad Digital Switzerland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Business Analyst with experience of Financial Planning and Analysis to join a new ERP Transformation Project.
This critical role reports directly to the client's ERP Technical Lead and focuses on optimizing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes using best-in-class ERP solutions.
As Business Analyst or Solution Architect, you'll be the linchpin between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless, accurate, and insightful financial processes. Your day-to-day will involve:
Design & Insight: Design high-impact financial reports and dashboards using ERP modules, and conduct deep financial data analysis across all modules to spot trends, variances, and opportunities.
Technical Leadership: Provide crucial technical guidance and leadership to development teams during FP&A solution implementation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather and translate business requirements from stakeholders and Global Process Owners into clear technical specifications and ensure they understand the solutions.
Documentation & Quality: Create and maintain detailed documentation (design specs, configuration, user guides) for all FP&A solutions, reporting, master data, and program interfaces. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
Future Vision: Monitor current SAP FP&A practices and provide recommendations for the design of the future ERP system. Stay updated on the latest ERP and FP&A best practices.
Support & Monitoring: Conduct thorough testing and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to minimize business disruption. Report on project progress in review meetings.
Your Background:
We're looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong blend of finance process knowledge and ERP technical expertise:
ERP Proficiency: Proven expertise in SAP FP&A modules and reporting tools in both ECC and S/4HANA.
Financial Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with other financial systems, tools, and data analytics/business intelligence (BI) tools.
Process Optimization: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and optimize complex business processes.
Communication & Management: Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction, training, and facilitating technical understanding.
Project Savvy: Ability to manage projects effectively, covering planning, execution, and monitoring.
This position will initially start as a 6-month hire and, for the right candidate, will result in an internal permanent position. As such, we are only able to consider candidates already based in Switzerland or from the EU.
