About the job:
The Department Lab Support & Compliance B (MMDCTG ) is looking for a Verification Engineer in the Lab Support and Compliance section. The section supports the laboratories as well as internal and external partners that contribute to the development of synthetic molecules. The field of activity includes activities related to the calibration, maintenance, qualification and servicing of laboratory equipment and systems, including monitoring of infrastructure such as cold storage rooms, etc.
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training or a degree in a technical or scientific field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the qualification of laboratory equipment in a GMP-regulated work environment.
- Fluent German and English skills
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Management of test equipment and device calibrations: planning, organization, testing, evaluation, documentation and archiving of calibrations
- Lifecycle management for test equipment, devices and systems
- Management of all required Veeva documents
- Support of the monitoring system for online 24h room monitoring in GMP laboratories
- SPOC regarding waste management within the department
- Process and documentation management to ensure GMP compliance
- MyBuy orders for service orders
- Equipment support for climate cabinets and refrigerators
- Deviation management: processing of deviations and changes
Must Haves:
- Training as a laboratory technician or Bachelor's degree in a technical or chemical field
- Min. 5 years of professional experience in the qualification and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong understanding of GMP
- Experience in change management
- Fluent German and English skills
- Digital skills, affinity for databases, affinity for technology
- Accurate and structured way of working and a high level of attention to detail
- Flexibility
- Team player, strong relationship skills
- Independent way of working and openness to learning new things
- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize
