For an international, growing organization operating globally within the B2B Pharmaceutical, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), and specialized chemical sectors, we are currently seeking a motivated, strategic, and results-oriented Area Manager to drive sales and business development activities across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Market Development: Execute sales strategies and market development initiatives to expand the company's footprint in assigned international territories.

  • Account & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international clients, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Business Development: Proactively identify new markets, target clients, and emerging business opportunities.

  • Negotiation & Contracts: Lead commercial negotiations, manage tenders, prepare tailored commercial proposals, and finalise sales contracts.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and anticipate market needs.

  • Pipeline & Reporting: Efficiently track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and prepare regular sales forecasts and commercial reports for top management.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal departments, including Sales Support, Marketing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Languages: Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of additional languages is considered a strong asset.

    • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and networking capabilities, combined with excellent organizational and presentation skills.

    • Mindset: Proactive, result-driven, agile, and eager to thrive within a highly regulated and dynamic international market.
