Your Responsibilities
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the effective coordination of materials (components) until their release to production. Your main tasks include:
- Ensuring timely planning and procurement to continuously supply production without shortages.
- Preparing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and related items according to internal procedures.
- Managing discrepancies in quantity, price, and delivery timelines, and taking corrective action where needed.
- Handling supplier relationships in case of non-conformities (e.g., RTVs, credit note requests).
- If required, planning manufacturing lines linked to the purchased materials.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in data reporting, especially using MS Excel.
- Fluent in French and English (both spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to simplify complex situations into practical solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Desirable: Green Belt Six Sigma or Lean certification; APICS certification.
