For our client, an international pharma company in Basel, we are looking for a Digital Biomarker Scientist to join an integrated team of scientists, technologists, data analysts and operationalization experts, that leverages mobile technologies like smartphones and wearables to collect objective and continuous sensor data from patients in clinical trials and clinical care.

We co-create innovative digital biomarker concepts for sensitive and meaningful drug development endpoints, implement them in technology solutions, develop health related outcome measures, seek community- and regulatory acceptance of corresponding endpoints and provide end-to-end services to Biopharma companies and research institutes for the collection and analysis of digital endpoint data in clinical trials. Moreover, we are establishing the scientific foundations for disease monitoring and screening solutions in clinical practice.
This role will focus in particular on our digital biomarker solutions for Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific guidance for data analysis projects
- Support interactions with customers during the pre- and post-sales phases
- Contribute to the communication of scientific results at conferences, in white-papers, and in peer-reviewed publications.
- Develop scientific core messages for product marketing
Must Haves:
- University degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Life Sciences or related field with a minimum of 5 years related experience in the pharmaceutical and digital health industry
- Track record of writing compelling publications in high impact, peer reviewed journals
- Knowledge of disease etiology and symptomatology for Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease
- Comprehensive understanding of the current state of drug development for Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease
- In-depth knowledge of the clinical endpoint landscape and associated challenges in Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease
- Overview of existing digital biomarker approaches for these diseases
- Deep experience in the area of digital biomarker development???????

- Experience working directly with people living with Parkinson’s / Huntington’s Disease.
- Experience with developing digital biomarkers, digital clinical outcome assessments and digital endpoints
- FDA/EMA regulatory interactions or regulatory consortias regarding clinical drug development and novel drug development endpoints
