<p>For one of our clients in the Scientific Sector, we are recruiting a Purchasing & Supplier Strategy Manager (100%) based in the canton of Fribourg.</p><p><br /> </p><p>Your Responsibilities:<br /> </p><ul><li><p>Lead and develop the regional purchasing team, ensuring efficient sourcing strategies and operational performance.</p></li><li><p>Secure supply continuity by proactively managing critical situations and ensuring timely material availability.</p></li><li><p>Implement initiatives to optimize purchasing costs and improve material efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Manage and strengthen supplier partnerships to ensure competitive conditions and long-term collaboration.</p></li><li><p>Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to safeguard operations.</p></li><li><p>Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve favorable commercial agreements.</p></li><li><p>Monitor procurement performance through KPIs and take corrective actions when required.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with production, quality, finance, and other internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with business objectives.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.<br /><br /> </p></li></ul><p>Your Profile:<br /> </p><ul><li><p>Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in purchasing, preferably in direct materials, and ideally in a manufacturing setting.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Strategic mindset with analytical abilities, able to deliver under tight deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in procurement systems and digital tools.</p></li></ul>
