NEXT IS THE DECOMMISSIONING OF LOCAL CUSTOMIZATIONS AND PLUGINS, REPLACING THEM WITH CLOUD-NATIVE ALTERNATIVES WHERE POSSIBLE. EXISTING INTEGRATIONS WITH SYSTEMS LIKE CMDBS AND REPORTING TOOLS ARE REBUILT TO FIT CLOUD CAPABILITIES. SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS DATA RESIDENCY AND GDPR ARE ADDRESSED EARLY. OPERATIONAL ROLES AND SUPPORT PROCESSES ARE ADAPTED TO THE CLOUD MODEL. FINALLY, CONTENT MIGRATION OF JIRA ISSUES AND CONFLUENCE PAGES IS EXECUTED ONCE THE PLATFORM AND PROCESSES ARE FULLY PREPARED. ROLE DESCRIPTION: THE ROLE LEADS THE STRATEGIC MIGRATION OF JIRA AND CONFLUENCE FROM ON-PREMISE TO ATLASSIAN CLOUD ACROSS MULTIPLE MARKET UNITS. IT ENSURES A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION BY ALIGNING TECHNICAL, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND STRATEGIC GOALS. THE PROJECT LEAD DRIVES HARMONIZATION AND STANDARDIZATION WHILE MANAGING DIVERSE STAKEHOLDER NEEDS WITH CLARITY AND EMPATHY. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE PROJECT SCOPING, PLANNING, RISK AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AND COORDINATING THE DECUSTOMIZATION OF LEGACY SETUPS. A STRONG FOCUS LIES ON ITERATIVE VALUE DELIVERY, TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT. Musthave:
- Proven experience in leading complex IT migration projects in enterprise environments - Deep understanding of Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) and their cloud architecture
- Expertise in stakeholder management, change management, and governance in an Enterprise Setup
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and self-organization
- Experience managing both functional and cultural integration aspects
- Strong expertise in project management
- Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
Tools/System Landscape:
- Extensive experience with Atlassian products, especially in cloud migration, data modeling, permission structures, and integrations
- Knowledge of enterprise IT architecture and legacy system transitions
- Proficiency in traditional and agile project management frameworks (e. g. , PMI, Scrum, SAFe)
- Experience in managing diverse stakeholder groups, including business, IT, governance, and external partners - Understanding of cloud-specific requirements such as data protection, compliance, identity management, and operational models
