Senior User Experience (UX) Designer
Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to own outcomes for one mature project, complex program, or emerging area. You will define scalable and sustainable approaches to solve difficult, often unprecedented problems and develop the long-term UX and product strategy for your team. This is a highly influential role requiring expertise in design systems, user-centered methodologies, and the ability to guide multiple adjacent design efforts.
Key Responsibilities
... Design Strategy & Vision: Define user experience and product strategy for your team. Propose ideas to improve UX by anticipating user needs and solving constraints in strategy, product, or technology.
Holistic Implementation: Drive a holistic design process, design system, or design language across multiple teams or products. Apply, adapt, and/or define UX design frameworks, including principles, patterns, and systems.
Execution & Delivery: Create design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business objectives. Develop and evangelize design specifications (e.g., mock-ups or prototypes) for implementation, tailoring deliverables based on product requirements.
Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to communicate, negotiate, and influence design intention. Build consensus and gain support for design strategy across all stakeholders. You must have a strong background in working effectively with UX Designer and Product Designer colleagues.
Data & Research: Use and propose new data and metrics to evaluate product impact, user trends, and industry insights. Guide UX designers in creating concepts for research, or conduct research independently to inform design direction.
System Health: Identify and follow writing and design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines, ensuring the design work is appropriate for longevity, collaboration, and scaling.
