<p>For our client, an international company based in Baden & Zurich, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Corporate Procurement Intern (m/f/d).<br /><br /><br /><br /> </p><h3>General Information</h3> <ul><li><p>Start: June (Flexible dates based on academic schedule)</p></li><li><p>Duration: Full-time internship for the summer period, with a potential hourly extension option during the academic year based on performance.</p></li><li><p>Workplace: Zurich (HQ) / Baden</p></li><li><p>Workload: 80–100%</p></li><li><p>Remote/Home Office: Hybrid – mainly remote, with presence in the Zurich office 1–2 times per week.<br /><br /><br /><br /> </p></li></ul><h3>Tasks & Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li><p>Procurement Support & Learning: Assist in the development and implementation of Corporate Procurement strategies under the guidance of senior experts.</p></li><li><p>Sourcing Activities: Support sourcing processes for Indirect Spend Categories and participate in eRfX (Request for X) workflows.</p></li><li><p>Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with internal stakeholders across the organization to understand supplier relationship management and corporate dynamics.</p></li><li><p>Project Contribution: Assist in the execution of procurement initiatives related to Risk Management, Sustainability, and Supply Base Management.</p></li><li><p>Process Excellence: Help maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with global standards.</p></li><li><p>Reporting: Provide regular updates and support reporting tasks for the Co-Head of Corporate Procurement or designated mentor.<br /><br /><br /><br /> </p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul><li><p>Academic Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields).</p></li><li><p>Communication Skills: Strong written communication for reports and documentation; comfortable presenting findings to team members.</p></li><li><p>Interpersonal Skills: A proactive collaborator with a willingness to engage with colleagues at various levels and incorporate feedback.</p></li><li><p>Organizational Talent: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a detail-oriented approach to deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Analytical Mindset: A curious "problem-solver" attitude with the ability to think creatively when facing obstacles.</p></li><li><p>Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience: Previous exposure to procurement or supply chain concepts is a plus, but a strong desire to learn is the priority.</p></li></ul>
