We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive the specification and implementation of complex trading functionalities across our exchange platforms. In this role, you will take ownership of translating intricate business, market, and regulatory needs into implementation-ready specifications. Working at the intersection of product management, architecture, software development, and testing, you will serve as a key technical authority for exchange-traded financial instruments and matching engine workflows.
Your Responsibilities
Requirements Specification: Produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, interface specifications, and detailed analytical deliverables.
Trading Platform Analysis: Analyze and specify complex trading functionalities, order handling mechanisms, execution workflows, and market model concepts across the full trading lifecycle.
Impact & Domain Assessment: Evaluate the operational, business, and technical impacts of new trading features across multi-system environments, market data, reference data, and regulatory frameworks.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Manage and align stakeholders across product management, business teams, system architects, software developers, and testing units.
Agile Execution: Actively participate in Agile delivery workflows, leading feature refinement, supporting implementation planning, and guiding delivery activities.
What You Bring to the Team
Requirements Engineering Experience: 8+ years (minimum >7 years) of dedicated requirements engineering experience within exchange trading, market infrastructure, or broader financial services.
Financial Instrument Domain Expertise: 4–6 years of deep functional knowledge in exchange-traded instruments, with a strong focus on Fixed Income and Structured Products (experience in Equities and ETFs is beneficial).
Core Trading Systems Knowledge: Mastery of trading platform concepts, matching engines, order execution workflows, and market model structures.
Analytical Precision: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into precise, actionable technical specifications.
Agile & Collaboration Skills: Proven experience working in Agile teams, backed by strong stakeholder management skills.
Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in English (oral and written).
