Your Responsibilities
- Lead the embedded software activities within product development projects from concept through industrialization.
- Drive the planning, estimation, execution, and successful delivery of embedded software work packages.
- Guide and mentor embedded software engineers, ensuring high standards of software quality and timely delivery.
- Translate system requirements into detailed software requirements and maintain full traceability throughout development.
- Plan and coordinate software sub-projects using a structured waterfall development approach.
- Manage software scope, effort estimation, resource planning, technical risks and project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support software architecture, implementation, integration, verification and validation activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and engineering practices.
Required Experience:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Engineering.
- 5-8 years of Technical Project Management or Technical Lead experience.
- Proven track record delivering embedded software projects in industrial or product development environments.
- Experience leading software teams while remaining technically hands-on.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality results under project constraints.
