How You’ll Make an Impact
In this highly responsible position, you will oversee three distinct laboratories and a team of approximately 15 FTEs, ensuring the highest standards of technical precision and operational efficiency.
Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for HV testing; manage resources, recruitment, and professional development for the laboratory team.
Operational Excellence: Ensure high-volume output through reliable testing procedures, including AC, DC, impulse, and partial discharge testing.
Process Innovation: Collaborate with Process Engineering to identify and integrate emerging technologies and best practices (CIP).
Safety & Compliance: Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards in accordance with IEC/IEEE and ISO regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Production departments to ensure holistic process design and seamless workflow.
Performance Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting directly to the Operations Manager to drive data-driven decision-making.
Governance: Ensure all internal and external regulations, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, are strictly followed.
Your Background
We are looking for a leader who combines deep technical expertise with a modern approach to people management and process optimization.
Education: Technical apprenticeship followed by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Leadership Experience: Several years of proven experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams, ideally within high-voltage testing, insulation technology, or power engineering.
Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of high-voltage systems, generators, and automation systems.
Methodological Expertise: Strong command of Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other process optimization frameworks.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a "safety-first" mindset.
Languages: Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
