We are seeking a motivated and proactive Project Manager –Delivery Projects to join our delivery team in Zurich. In this role, you will take full technical and commercial ownership of structural delivery projects from initial handover through to final execution. Working closely with international engineering teams and external partners, you will drive project success by balancing cost, schedule, quality, and strict compliance standards in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Role Overview
Lead the end-to-end execution of medium-sized customer and internal structural engineering projects. You will ensure project completion on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and contractual standards. Acting as the core interface across technical and commercial domains, you will direct cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery: Oversee project delivery across all phases—from sales handover through design, production, and final on-site assembly. Maintain target fulfillment, contract compliance, and financial tracking.
Stakeholder & Contract Management: Serve as the primary contact for client representatives and suppliers. Negotiate agreements, define technical requirements, and manage project scope, claims, and deviations.
Cross-Functional Interface: Bridge communication between project engineering, sales, and structural execution teams.
Team Leadership: Direct internal resources, external partners, and international engineering teams. Assign project tasks, establish clear guidelines, monitor milestones, and provide performance feedback.
Supply Chain & Quality Control: Initiate supply chain activities for steel structure fabrication. Conduct quality inspections, lead root-cause analyses, resolve on-site/factory non-conformance issues (NCRs), and manage quality cases (Q cases).
Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned to optimize execution processes and drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical/delivery projects of varying complexity and contract types, with a strong focus on civil and steel construction.
Certifications: PMP® (PMI), IPMA Level C/D, or an equivalent internal project management certification is highly preferred.
Technical & Software Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD). Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., SCIA Engineer, STAAD Pro), BIM (Tekla Structures), or SAP is a distinct advantage.
Standards & Codes: Knowledge of European and international building codes (e.g., EC, AISC, EN 1090) and domain knowledge in energy sector infrastructure are beneficial.
Languages: Business fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong plus.
